1. Rainy season color nail

In Japan, we have the rainy season around June to the first half of July. This time I got inspired by the flower, hydrangea, blooming in this season.

2. What I used?

Of course 2 colored polishes inspired by flower, white and soft lavender.
What are the other 2 clear polishes ? The right with pink label is a base coat. Base coats help smooth the nail surface. Nail polish will apply more evenly if you have applied a base coat first. Second from the right with purple label is a top coat. It helps color last longer.

There are jewelry seals in 3 colors. This time I used the blue one. I wanted my nails simple, so I only used some of them. If you want gorgeous designs, you can put them on each of your fingers.

3. What was easy / difficult?

Applying base coat and top coat was easy. It’s probably because the clear color blends evenly. I did not have to be very careful. Putting on the jewelry seals was easy too. They fit the curve of the nails and is fixed in place well by covering with a top coat.

To paint nails evenly was difficult. Some parts have thick paint, while others have thin. I put 2 coats so that the color looks more even. Another difficulty was to stay inside the nails. Sometimes I messed up by flooding cuticles and skins. You can find small pointed cotton sticks to fix that at Daiso too.
